Earth Day Ride to West Hollywood Tree Planting Event

Join the West Hollywood Bicycle Coalition on Saturday, April 18th for a family-friendly ride from Plummer Park to San Vicente Blvd. to celebrate Earth Day by participating in West Hollywood’s Annual Tree Planting Event. The ride is part of WeHoBYCO’s commitment to WeHo’s Climate Action Plan, which supports bicycling to reduce greenhouse gasses, and our being a recipient of the City’s “Green City Award”.

Before the ride, all participants will need to sign a ride waiver.  Invite friends!

Riders who want to participate in the tree plantings will be provided with tools and gloves.  T-shirts will be provided to participants while supplies last.

Sign up for ‘My WeHo Climate Action‘ and check off the Biking Action to get credit for bicycling!  People participating in the tree planting should also complete the Plant Trees Action.  Riders who complete a Climate Action will be entered into a raffle to win one of five gift cards to local green businesses, courtesy of the City of West Hollywood.

West Hollywood will be hosting the City’s annual Aquatics Spring Festival at the West Hollywood Aquatic and Recreation Center right after the tree planting. Be sure to check it out!”
